Imagine that you want to produce 1000kg of hydrogen daily. The installation can be dimensioned using annual average power production by renewables. One of the possible solutions is:
- wind turbine: 10 000 kW
- photovoltaic pharm: 2000 kW
- electrolyzer: 2200 kW
- hydronen storage: 1200 kg
- battery: 6600 kWh
Analysis of the above installation gives an ROI of about 11.9%. Changing Wind Turbine power to 8000 kW and photovoltaic panels to 6500 kW + a few minor modifications increase ROI to 13.8%. This makes over 850 000 EUR increase in income.
